Hello Regina,

We have all experienced that uneasy feeling when it's time to make significant changes in our lives, whether it's leaving a job, ending a relationship, or rethinking our career path.

The journey of transformation can be a prolonged and challenging one, filled with uncertainties and unanswered questions that can leave us feeling stuck. The fear of stepping into the unknown can keep us in a state of limbo for longer than we'd like.

I have personally found myself in a state of limbo for the past 2 years, while dealing with Auto Immune disease that lead to uncertainty in my professional future. Fortunately, that time has come to an end as I was able to let go of what no longer serves me in order to heal my failing body and pursue my true passion and goals.

I'll share more about my struggles and renewed way forward next month, when I'm announcing exciting changes and a positive evolution in my business—so stay tuned, you don’t want to miss it!

Today, I want to talk a little more about the uncomfortable state of limbo—a time of uncertainty where the path forward is unclear. In order to escape limbo I believe that the best way forward is to embrace it as a vital part of a transformative process. Despite its discomfort, limbo will become our catalyst for personal and professional growth, pushing us beyond our comfort zones. I won't pretend to have all the answers on how to expedite your exit from limbo because each person's journey is unique and should be explored as such.

Transitioning through uncertainty takes patience and courage to allow for the new path to appear, but eventually, clarity will emerge and pull you forward towards your true north. Embracing limbo will lead to unexpected insights, opportunities, and personal growth.

I've experienced uncertainty and transformation firsthand after stepping back from corporate executive coaching in order to heal my failing health. Interestingly, my emergence from limbo coincides with today’s total eclipse of the sun. I am actually in Montreal, Canada, today, where I happen to be in the path of totality.

Reflecting on the symbolism of eclipses, I learned that ancient civilizations viewed eclipses as powerful moments of change and transformation. Eclipses symbolize the struggles between old and new, between light and darkness, and they are prompting us to confront hidden truths and embrace authenticity and new beginnings.

As we approach this celestial event in just hours from now, take a moment to reflect on areas of your life that may be in need of change. Remember, transformation often requires letting go of the old to embrace the new, and as Ben Woodward wisely said, "before growth can occur, the old must be undone."

So, ask yourself: what do you need to release in order to move forward on your journey of transformation? If you need a little help with this, I’m happy to chat!

Sincerely,

Regina
